KECO Pump & Equipment, formerly known as Kenton Equipment Company, was founded in 1954 in San Diego, California. For over 70 years, we have built a reputation for excellence in the manufacturing, distribution, and engineering of industrial pump solutions.

As the exclusive North American distributor of Ragazzini Rotho Peristaltic Pumps, we serve industries ranging from wastewater treatment and mining to food processing and chemical handling. Our deep expertise in fluid dynamics and pump engineering forms the foundation of everything we do.

That same engineering know-how led us to develop the Marina Trash Skimmer, an automated floating debris collection system designed to keep marinas and harbors clean around the clock.

Why We Built the Marina Trash Skimmer

The Marina Trash Skimmer was born from decades of marine pump engineering experience. Working closely with harbors and marinas across California, we saw firsthand the growing problem of floating debris, from plastic bottles and bags to leaves, oil sheen, and organic matter accumulating in marina waters.

Manual cleanup was labor-intensive, inconsistent, and could never keep pace with the volume of debris entering our waterways. We knew there had to be a better way.

Drawing on our deep expertise in pump technology and fluid dynamics, we engineered an automated solution that works around the clock. The result is the Marina Trash Skimmer: a floating debris collection system that continuously removes pollutants from the water surface without disturbing marine life.

Today, our skimmers are deployed in marinas across the country, quietly and efficiently keeping waterways clean 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
